Managing Your Mood

There are many influences that can cause us to feel emotions. When we confuse others’ emotions with our own or fail to recognize when a physical imbalance is causing us to feel badly, we may become frantic and overwhelmed. From germs, to hormones, to illnesses, to other’s energy, many sources may cause us to feel emotions that do not express our own feelings about our lives. It is vitally important to one’s mental health to be able to distinguish what emotions are one’s own and what are not and how to work with ourselves so that we may enjoy our lives in our often confusing bodies. In this class, students learn how to determine the source of their emotions and how to work skillfully with that information.
